Art Major

Why study Art?

The art program at Upper Iowa University challenges students to develop a personal approach to the arts while they strengthen their artistic skills and explore career opportunities.  Creativity and independence are cornerstones of a program where faculty members actively lead, motivate, and support students to be goal- driven in their education, artistic pursuits, and careers.  Students will gain a solid foundation in studio classes and a global perspective on the visual arts.
