The most important step in letting us know you’re ready to return to UIU is to complete the “Personal Information Update for Returning Students” form. Complete this form, and an advisor will get in touch with you soon!

Academic Planning

An important detail that will help us advise you is whether or not you want to continue your previous academic journey! If you’d like to change your major or degree plan, be sure to make a note of it so you can communicate your academic goals to your advisor.

Financial Aid Planning

An important step in restarting classes at UIU is making sure your financial aid is ready to go!

  1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  2. Check with your employer about any possible tuition reimbursement opportunities.

Tutoring and Writing Services

UIU’s tutoring services in multiple subjects to all UIU students, as well as writing support via trained writing consultants.

Library Resources

UIU’s expansive Library databases and services are available in-person or online for those students who are attending a center or studying online.

Career Development

The Office of Career Development offers student-focused services, including career guidance, resume/cover letter assistance, and internship/job search support.
