Experience the UIU difference. The UIU Master of Education (M.Ed.) is tailored to the needs of classroom teachers and accommodates the tight schedules of working adults. The accelerated eight week course rotation allows you to proceed at a pace that serves your needs. UIU courses are taught by professors with extensive experience in Pre-K-12 schools who are tuned in to the challenges of today’s classroom. Whether you are looking to give yourself greater job opportunities or job security by adding endorsements or are seeking to enhance your classroom practice and teacher leadership skills, UIU has the program for you.
Within the M.Ed. strands, we offer advanced coursework that targets the needs of those seeking endorsements in Special Education, Reading, Early Childhood Education and ESL as well as an emphasis on Teacher Leadership. Endorsements are also available separate from the M.Ed. based on student preference.
