Fayette Appreciation Day (FAD)

Fayette Appreciation Day (FAD) is the largest service event on campus, engaging more than 550 students, faculty & staff, and countless community members. A small committee plans and facilitates the annual day. Over 30 projects are completed in Fayette County ranging from river clean-up to painting homes. Each year, participants provide a combined total of more than 1,800 service hours to various groups, organizations and community members in the northeast Iowa community. More than 548 service projects have been completed since this initiative started in 2006.
