Undergraduate Teacher Education Program Areas
Early Childhood Education
Prepare to educate the earliest learners with UIU’s Early Childhood Education, Birth – Grade 3: Inclusive Settings major.
Elementary Education
Major in Elementary Education at Upper Iowa to prepare to teach in an elementary classroom, typically grades K-6. UIU also offers additional endorsement areas for those interested in teaching grades 5-8.

Online Paraeducator Certification
Upper Iowa offers three online courses to recommend you for your paraeducator certificate. All 9 credits will apply towards a teaching degree should you choose to return to UIU to obtain your initial teaching license!
