Upper Iowa University’s self-paced program empowers students to achieve a college degree wherever they may be. While there is a technology-based option, the self-paced paper-based option gives students without access to technology the opportunity to complete a college degree through correspondence courses. UIU has helped students achieve their educational goals and dreams through distance education since 1973, including a long history of working directly with imprisoned populations. We have mastered a flexible six-month format that supports success.
