Interlibrary Loan Request
The Library participates in many Interlibrary loan (ILL) networks and resource‐sharing consortiums, enabling library staff to obtain most published and circulating material that is not owned by the library at no cost to the UIU community.
- ILL requests can be made anytime but are processed Monday through Friday.
- Almost all article ILL requests are fulfilled within 1-3 business days. It can take 3 days to 2 weeks for ILL books to arrive in the mail.
- Requests can be made by filling out the form below.
- Also, online Databases have an option to Request via ILL. If asked to enter a max cost enter 0.
- Articles and book chapters will be emailed to you. If you can’t pick up a requested book at the library, it can be mailed to you. Borrower assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs.
- ILL services are available to all UIU faculty, staff, and students nationally and abroad.
