  • 2025-2026 Transfer Rate: $7,500 per semester
  • $18,800 tuition rate for 2025-2026 academic year
  • Accepts up to 90 semester credit hours toward degree completion – transfer up to 78 credits from a two-year institution (and an additional 12 credits from four-year institutions)
  • $100 housing deposit

UIU Online & Centers tuition for Northland College students.

  • $505 per credit hour undergraduate tuition for online and centers
  • $342-$642 per credit hour for graduate programs.
  • Six graduate programs — all available online.
  • UIU will work with students individually to maximize the transferability of successfully completed coursework

UIU’s flexible course schedule allows you more time to master your studies and balance your other commitments.

The Peacock Promise is Upper Iowa’s extraordinary financial assistance program that allows students who qualify for the Iowa Tuition Grant to pay zero tuition at UIU’s residential campus in Fayette.

Military Family Grant

Upper Iowa’s Military Family Grant offers $250 per credit hour tuition rates for undergraduate courses and $325 per credit hour tuition rates for graduate courses! For spouses and dependents of active duty, reserve and National Guard service members.
