CYBR 530 Cyber Risk Management and Strategy
Cyberattacks are inevitable, but the extent of the damage may rely on how much the manager is prepared. Students will be able to create risk management strategies before, during, and after cyberattacks, developing incident response plans, understanding frameworks like NIST and MITRE ATT&CK, identify proactive and reactive protection techniques, and debrief with ‘hotwashes.’ This course is offered via Upper Iowa University’s (UIU) partnership with Rize. These offer students cutting-edge curriculum, greater scheduling flexibility, access to nationwide experts in the field, and access to even more resume-ready skills. Rize courses may not be taken for elective credit.
