CHEM 252 Organic Chemistry II

Continuing the mechanistic approach of CHEM 251, students study several reaction types, including substitution, elimination, electrophilic addition, nucleophilic addition and elimination, oxidation and reduction, and electrophilic aromatic substitution.  Additionally, students engage with ideas of conjugation and aromaticity and learn how to apply organic spectroscopic techniques.
