PMGT 220 Managing Risk and Uncertainty
This course introduces students to the principles and practices of project risk management. Students will learn to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that can impact project outcomes. Emphasizing practical application, the course develops skills in risk analysis, contingency planning, and decision-making under uncertainty. Through applied activities, students will build the ability to anticipate challenges, maintain project control, and support successful, timely project delivery. This course is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities.
Instruction is provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education. Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Upper Iowa University. Students register through Upper Iowa University and receive academic credit from Upper Iowa University. Rize courses may not be taken for electives.
