FAYETTE, Iowa (July 17, 2019) – Upper Iowa University has been ranked among the top 15 schools in the nation for Best Online Bachelor’s Degrees in Finance. UIU is ranked 11th overall by Successful Student, a leading online authority on college rankings and degree rankings, considered from a students’ point of view.
Successful Student selected the honored degree programs based on quality of the programs available, types of courses offered, faculty involved, awards, rankings, reputation, and the online education process. The site noted Upper Iowa University’s School of Business and Professional Studies offers undergraduate majors as well as a Master of Business Administration degree. Students can complete majors in accounting, graphic design, marketing, and financial management, among others.
Designed to prepare graduates for careers in public or private companies, UIU’s online major in financial management helps students develop skills to manage and foster teamwork, create and understand financial statements, provide analytical assessment of financial opportunities, and conduct financial analysis and management.
Upper Iowa University online classes are taught asynchronously, allowing students to complete course requirements on their own time. Each session is eight weeks long, with accelerated six-week summer classes available in some circumstances. Students can transfer up to 78 credits from an accredited two-year college or up to 90 credits from a four-year college. Students also can earn up to 30 semester credits for prior learning experience.
