Thursday | August 27
- 8:30 AM – 11 AM | Student Move-in (Rain or shine) – Check-in at Student Center
- 11 AM | Campus Tour – Student Center Main Entrance
- 11 AM – 1 PM | Lunch – Student Center Servery
- 1 PM – 3 PM | Parent’s Bon Voyage (Families only) – President’s House, 308 Washington St., Fayette. Complimentary refreshments served.
- 2:30 PM | Women’s Soccer Game vs Roosevelt – Harms-Eischeid Stadium, treats provided
- 4:30 PM | Residence Hall Floor Meetings* and Floor Games
- 5 PM – 6:30 PM | Dinner – Student Center Servery
- 6 PM | Festival – Grace Meyer Square (Rec Center rain location). Free food trucks, yard games, inflatables, crafts, caricature drawings, and rock climbing
- City of Fayette Scavenger Hunt Begins! – All month long, as your RA for details. Prizes include, 1st place: First Choice Room Selection, 2nd place: Free Parking Permit, 3rd place: JBL Speaker
Friday | August 28
- 7 AM – 10 AM | Breakfast – Student Center Servery
- 10:30 AM | Introduction to Academic Support Services* – FREE Euphoria coffee & tea given to the first 100 students – Student Center Ballrooms
- 11 AM – 11:30 AM | Academic Socials* for Business, Communications, Criminal Justice, Education, Exercise Science, Science, Social Science, and Undecided Majors at various locations
- 11 AM – 2 PM | Thrift Ave. – Student Center Commons. A local favorite, offering a variety of clothing and accessories
- 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Resource Fair* – Student Center 2nd Floor. Meet with a variety of university offices and departments designed to help students thrive, as well as local community resources available to help students transition to life in Fayette.
- 11:00 AM – 1 PM | Welcome Back Lunch – Student Center Servery. Meet the Student Government Association (SGA) officers and the UIU community
- 2 PM – 4 PM | Res Life Hoops ‘n’ Scoops & Pool Tournament – Head to the courts next to Lee Towers for ice cream! On the 2nd floor of the Student Center, there will be a pool tournament
- 5 PM – 6:30 PM | Dinner – Student Center Servery
- 7:00 PM | John Cassidy – Variety Act – Student Center Ballrooms
Saturday | August 29
- 9 AM – 9:30 AM | Yoga – Led by the owner of Yoga Genesis – Grace Meyer Square (Rec Center rain location)
- 9:30 AM – 10 AM | BeYou Nutrition – Handing out FREE shakes and teas, while supplies last – Student Center Commons
- 10 AM – 1 PM | HUB & Mailroom Open – Student Center HUB
- 11 AM – 1 PM | Brunch – Student Center Servery
- 11 AM | Shopping Trip – Meet at Circle Drive outside the Student Center, anticipated return to campus by 4 PM
- 1 PM – 4 PM | More than Books – Henderson-Wilder Library, get acquainted with the library, enjoy frozen treats, create a Mason Jar Night Light and collage a Handmade Journal
- 3 PM | Football Game vs Jamestown – Eischeid-Harms Stadium
- 4 PM – 5 PM | UIU Spirit Walk – Meet at Henderson-Wilder Library, go on a guided tour with our library staff to see some of the historic landmarks and items from UIU’s amazing creation to our present day
- 5 PM – 6:30 PM | Dinner – Student Center Servery
- 6:15 PM – 7 PM | Residence Life Meetings* – Student Center Ballrooms. Mandatory for all students living in the residence halls.
- 7 PM | Josh McVicar – Comedy/Magic – Student Center Ballrooms
Sunday | August 30
- 10 AM – 1 PM | Brunch – Student Center Servery
- 10 AM – 1 PM | HUB & Mailroom Open – Student Center HUB. Get parking permits, ask questions about clubs/orgs, and get involved at UIU
- 1 PM | Rec Center Activities – Music, yard games, basketball, dodgeball, etc
- 3 PM | Last Call for Class Locations – Meet outside the Student Center. PEEPS will show you where your classes are located
- 4 PM – 7 PM | Free Food Trucks & Music – Gravel parking lot by Rec Center (Rec Center rain location)
- 5 PM – 6:30 PM | Dinner – Student Center Servery
Monday | August 31
- 6:30 PM – Stock Your Dorm Bingo – Win groceries and other fun prizes to decorate your residence space – Student Center Commons
