Ms. Scotti Hagensick is a licensed Professional School Counselor in the state of Iowa, with over a decade of experience serving K-12 students. She has held school counseling positions at the elementary, middle, and high school levels and has been an Adjunct Instructor in Upper Iowa University’s Counseling Program since 2022.
In 2021, the school counseling program at her elementary school received the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation from the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), recognizing its excellence in delivering a comprehensive, data-driven counseling program.
Beyond her work in schools, Ms. Hagensick also served as a School Improvement Consultant within Iowa’s Area Education Agency (AEA) system, supporting districts in strategic planning and program development.
She earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Liberty University.
Ms. Hagensick is passionate about delivering comprehensive school counseling programs rooted in data-informed practices and multi-tiered, multi-domain systems of support. She has led professional development in areas such as ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), Powerful Tools for Caregivers of Children with Special Health and Behavioral Needs, and ESSA improvement planning. She has also served on the Iowa School Counselor Association (ISCA) Board.
