Amy Updegraff received her bachelor’s degree from Luther College with endorsements in reading and early childhood. After graduation she taught grades PreK-5th in central Iowa. Amy then earned her master’s degree in instructional technology from Iowa State University in 2015. She is currently finishing her PhD in educational technology at Iowa State. While at Iowa State she also received certificates in instructional design, literacy coaching, and social justice. Amy is looking forward to working with students at the Des Moines campus to learn together and grow our skills in teaching and learning in a variety of areas from foundations of education to working with technology in the classroom.
