UIU now offers three distinct pathways within the Business Administration major: a traditional 120-credit option, a 90-credit option that offers a more focused path toward graduation, and a Dual-Degree BSBA + MBA Bundle option that allows you to earn both your bachelor’s and MBA in about the same time as a traditional 4-year degree.

Majoring in Business Administration
Students majoring Business Administration start with a strong foundation in business principles, laws, practices and ethics by completing our 39-credit business core, a 9-credit Business Administration Core, and then choose from one of several emphasis areas to fit your life and career goals.
Accounting Emphasis
Develop a strong foundation in financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and cost analysis to prepare for careers in accounting, finance, and related business fields.
Accounting Emphasis is available in the 90-credit Pathway only.
Entrepreneurship Emphasis
Learn how to start and manage your own business, innovate within existing organizations, and turn ideas into successful ventures.
Finance Emphasis
Prepare for careers in corporate finance, banking, financial analysis, and investment management.
General Business Emphasis
Build a broad and versatile foundation covering key business disciplines to prepare for a wide range of career paths.
Health Services Administration Emphasis
Develop the skills to lead healthcare organizations, improve patient services, and navigate the complex regulatory and operational landscape of the health industry.
Human Resource Management Emphasis
