PMGT 301 Project Execution, Monitoring, and Control

This course focuses on the execution and control phases of project management, where plans are translated into results.  Students will develop skills in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), managing project performance, and addressing challenges such as scope changes and team conflict.  Emphasizing data-informed decision-making and communication, the course introduces techniques for effective progress reporting and data storytelling.  Through applied learning, students will gain the ability to adapt to changing conditions, maintain project alignment, and successfully close projects with measurable impact.  This course is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities.  Instruction is provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.  Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Upper Iowa University.  Students register through Upper Iowa University and receive academic credit from Upper Iowa University.  Rize courses may not be taken for electives.
