CHEM 337 Biochemical Techniques

Credits: 3

Students will engage in biochemical techniques through hands-on team projects and individual presentations.  Projects will be based on questions, problems, or issues that can be addressed by application of biochemical techniques and could vary from year-to-year.  Individual presentations will focus on techniques requiring advanced equipment beyond the scope of our laboratory. Proficiency at common laboratory skills and quantitative problem-solving skills will be assessed as well.  Students should gain skill sets for and a greater appreciation of conducting biochemical research.
