PH 320 Health Services

Health Services – the means by which healthcare is provided – is a critical concept in Public Health that impacts all of us.  This course will introduce you to the modern history of healthcare in high, middle, and low income countries and explore the evolution of health services.  Students will evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of particular systems and policies and examine their ideal version of a health service in the context of current events.  This course is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities.

Instruction is provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.  Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Upper Iowa University.  Students register through Upper Iowa University and receive academic credit from Upper Iowa University.  Rize courses may not be taken for electives.
