Summer OAR Days begin

FAYETTE, Iowa (June 4, 2018) – The summer OAR (Orientation, Advising, and Registration) Day schedule is underway at Upper Iowa University Fayette Campus. As the final step in the admission process, the one-day events not only allow incoming students to register for classes but also allow both students and their parents/families to further explore different aspects of Upper Iowa with the help and guidance of current UIU students, university administrators, faculty and staff.

A typical OAR Day begins with students and their guests registering and being welcomed at the Student Center on the Fayette Campus, before being split into groups. Topics of discussion throughout the day range from academics and campus life to financing and other available resources.

In addition to an OAR Day on Friday, June 8, future dates include the following:

  • Saturday, June 30
  • Friday, July 20
  • Wednesday, August 22
