OAR Day summer schedule is heating up
FAYETTE, Iowa (June 10, 2016) – The Summer 2016 OAR (Orientation, Advising, and Registration) Days have arrived on the Upper Iowa University Fayette Campus. As the final step in the admission process, the one-day events not only allow incoming students to register for classes but also allow both students and their parents/families to further explore different aspects of Upper Iowa with the help and guidance of university administrators, faculty, and staff.
A typical OAR Day begins with students and their guests registering and being welcomed at the Student Center on the Fayette Campus, before being split into groups. Topics of discussion throughout the day range from academics and campus life to advising, financial aid and other available resources.
Future summer dates include the following:
- Friday, June 24
- Friday, July 22
- Thursday, Aug. 18
