One of your first choices as an incoming UIU student will be selecting your primary learning experience. Although the majority of students combine more than one learning option to complete a UIU degree, you will want to apply to the location or program in which you expect to spend the majority of your time. For example, you may choose to be a Fayette campus student but still take online courses or choose to be an online student and still take some courses face-to-face at a UIU education center.
Some majors and academic programs are only offered on campus or online, so be sure to explore the options for your major before applying. The current academic catalog is the official list of degree requirements and includes all course descriptions. In addition, the catalog contains important information about Upper Iowa policies and procedures. The current catalog at the time of your admission to Upper Iowa becomes the official guide for meeting your academic program requirements. These requirements can change over time, so please be sure to use the catalog appropriate for the year in which you entered your program. Archives of those catalogs are available here.
