EDU 522 Assessment for Learning
This course provides the theoretical foundation for student-involved classroom assessment. The course focuses on the role of classroom assessment in measuring student understanding and achievement as well as the various methods available to assess a variety of achievement targets. It provides complete coverage of educational assessment, including developing plans that integrate teaching and assessment, evaluating students and discussing evaluations with parents. No formal coursework in statistics or college mathematics is necessary to complete the course.
