Hello Students,

Due to the influx in COVID-19 cases and exposures in the Des Moines area, Session 2 classes at the Des Moines Center will be transitioning to a virtual format effective Monday, November 16, 2020. Classes will continue to meet virtually through the remainder of this session.  Further instructions about your course will be provided by your instructor via UIU email in the coming days. Please check your UIU email often for updates.

If you have any questions about this transition, please feel free to contact your instructor or me. If your questions relate to concerns about COVID-19, your health care provider, local public health agency or the CDC website are your best resources.

We remain committed to providing you with an outstanding educational experience at UIU. Our team members will continue to be available to you at the center or virtually through zoom, email or by phone.  We will miss seeing you at the center each week for class, but your health and wellbeing are very important to us. We are planning to resume in person classes in Session 3, which will begin January 18, 2021.
