HEALTH FAIR APRIL 5th 10:30am -1:00pm

The focus of this Health Fair is to educate the UIU campus and surrounding communities about the different dimensions of wellness by exposing them to various wellness organizations throughout Northeast Iowa.

Health and Wellness

Upper Iowa University's Wellness Office's mission is to promote wellness and health among students, faculty, and staff. Educating students about all areas of wellness is the main goal of the Student Wellness Office. This education is done through empowering students with the knowledge and information they need to continue to lead a healthy and active lifestyle for the rest of their lives. Programs include wellness fairs, blood drives, and themed monthly programs on every subject from eating disorders, alcohol and drugs, nutrition to sexual health awareness.

An additional service provided by the Wellness Office is bringing nationally recognized speakers to campus to speak on issues such as alcohol abuse, eating disorders, rape, wellness, optimum performance, etc. If you have any ideas or suggestions for speakers, or if you belong to an organization which would like to co-sponsor a presentation on campus, please feel free to stop by the Wellness Office (Student Center 213).
