Exercise & Sports Studies

Skylar Lesan

"As a transfer student, who changed her major twice, I was a little nervous about graduating on time, but Upper Iowa University’s block scheduling and free accelerated May-term classes made it possible for me to not only to get a major, minor, and coaching endorsement, but it also allowed me to graduate in 3.5 years. The faculty/advisors really helped keep my schedule on track, pushing me to take difficult courses which ended up being my favorite classes. They helped to get me to where I am today working as a research associate in a Life Science Executive Search Industry. Grad school is still in the near future and I feel fully prepared by UIU to take my education to the next level. Go Peacocks!"
