FAYETTE, Iowa (August 1, 2014) – Nothing compares to the Iowa State Fair or tuition assistance. Upper Iowa University faculty and staff will be at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, August 7-17, to once again give away two one-year tuition awards and free classes to eligible participants. Now in its ninth year at the fair, UIU will host an informational and merchandise booth at the Varied Industries Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day of the fair.
To be eligible for the one-year tuition awards to the Fayette campus, students must be 16 by August 17, 2014. Prospective UIU education center or online students may also register to win a free class. One free class will be awarded each day of the Iowa State Fair. See the full set of rules here.
Upper Iowa University apparel will be sold at the booth for the first time courtesy of UIU's downtown Fayette retail store, Pavo Blue. UIU merchandise can also be purchased here.
