Upper Iowa University ranked as “Best Buy” in online colleges

FAYETTE, Iowa (August 10, 2012) – Upper Iowa University has received two "Best Buy" rankings from the independent review organization, GetEducated.com, for its master's of higher education administration programs.
GetEducated.com reviewed similar online degree programs and ranked UIU for offering a high quality distance program to a national audience at costs below the national average.
The UIU master's of higher education administration program ranked 103rd in affordability based on a comprehensive review of 367 online education master's of higher education leadership or administration degrees offered by 129 regionally accredited universities. The national average cost for an online master's in education is $16,730.62.
The UIU master's of higher education administration was ranked 23rd among only masters of higher education leadership or administration degrees. The national average cost for an online degree of this type is $17,499.
Upper Iowa University offers a wide array of degree programs, as well as three master's degree programs – business administration (MBA), higher education administration (MHEA), and public administration (MPA). Several other programs have been designated as "Best Buys" including criminal justice, psychology, social science and business management.
