Congressman Braley dons Peacock baseball uniform for big game
Iowa Congressman Bruce Braley and Congressman Cedric Richmond of Louisiana congratulate each other after the congressional baseball game for which Braley donned an Upper Iowa University baseball uniform.
FAYETTE, Iowa (August 5, 2011) —Rep. Bruce Braley (D-Iowa) turned into an Upper Iowa University Peacock recently for the 50th Annual Congressional Baseball Game at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
Congressman Braley donned the full Peacock baseball team uniform for the bout.
The Democrats won the game 8-2. Congressman Cedric Richmond (D-La.) was the winning pitcher.
