Although the Iowa State Fair has been cancelled for 2020, we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to connect with alumni, friends, students, faculty, staff and fans! This year we are excited to offer 11 days of exclusive virtual fair fun from August 13-23. We encourage you to check back here beginning August 13.

Current and future students will have the opportunity to register for a free class and free tuition, alumni can sign in for free prizes and special UIU Campus Store discounts, all of which are typically only available to Iowa State Fair attendees. Butter Peacock

The 50-pound Butter Peacock was carved by UIU associate professor of art Elissa Wenthe and senior art education major Megan Kleitsch. The artwork proved to be a popular State Fair attraction, drawing thousands of people to the Upper Iowa booth.

Nearly 900 proud Peacocks stopped by our booth to chat and get a free gift. We continue to make our booth a gathering place for alumni to converse and further connect with their alma mater.

Peacock Swag

For the fifth straight year we have displayed and sold UIU merchandise for all Peacock fans, and 2019 proved to be the biggest year in sales yet.

Tuition Awards

For over a decade, UIU has given prospective students the chance to sign up for the opportunity to win a free year of tuition as well as free classes.
