Rave Emergency Notification System
UIU uses the Rave mass notification system to send text and email messages to students, faculty and staff. All students, faculty and staff are registered on the system on a daily basis. It is strongly recommended that you log in to the system as soon as possible to add/confirm your contact information and add family members and/or other essential contacts you would need to receive information during emergency situations. It is also recommended you update your phone numbers and email addresses if you make any changes.
UPDATING RAVE ALERT CONTACT INFO: UIU email addresses are automatically included in the Rave Alert system, though students and employees may add an additional 2 email addresses and 3 mobile phone numbers (for text alerts) to receive Rave Alerts on those devices. The process is easy. Go to Rave and log in using your myUIU username and password. Once logged in, select the “My Account” page to add or adjust phone numbers and email addresses. Please note that Rave Alert will not call your phone; it will only send text messages. Rave Alert is free to students and employees, though your carrier’s standard messaging and/or data charges may apply.
