Fayette Appreciation Day (FAD) is the largest service event on campus, engaging more than 550 students, faculty & staff; and countless community members. Annually a small committee plans and facilitates a day where over 30 projects are completed in Fayette County ranging from cleaning up rivers to painting community member's houses. Each year participants provide a combined total of more than 1,800 service hours to various groups, organizations and community members in the North East Iowa community. The eighth annual Fayette Appreciation Day has brought the total to over 300 service projects completed since this initiative started in 2006.
