Master Sgt. Kevin (KC) Robb will serve as guest speaker during the Veterans Day program at Upper Iowa University in Fayette on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
FAYETTE, Iowa (November 2, 2015) – A Mount Auburn, Iowa, native will serve as guest speaker of the 2015 Upper Iowa University Veterans Day program on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Master Sgt. Kevin (KC) Robb has served the U.S. Army Reserve as a medical specialist for 24 years. He was mobilized to active duty from 2006-11 at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, and from 2013-2015 as a member of the Community-Based Warrior Transition Unit in Rock Island, Ill.
Robb has served as assistant professor of exercise and sports science at Upper Iowa University since 2002. The 58-year-oldearned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg in 1981, before receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Mankato State University in 1991 and master’s degree from Mankato State in 1996. He and his wife, Janet, reside in Delhi. The couple has four children.
President William R. Duffy II will welcome those attending the Nov. 11 event, which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. in the Student Center ballrooms on the Fayette campus. Fayette American Legion Post 339 will present the colors. Aaron Calkins, UIU Student Government Association president, will serve as master of ceremonies. The junior from Fond du Lac, Wis., is majoring in business administration.
