UIU presents nearly 130 student honors and awards
Upper Iowa University President Dr. William R. Duffy congratulated Matthew Vagts of West Union, Iowa, on being presented the Foster Cass Scholarship during the 2015 UIU Honors and Awards Banquet. The scholarship is primarily intended for high school graduates from North Fayette, Elkader, or Maquoketa Valley high schools. Nearly 130 awards and scholarships were presented during the recent annual event on the Fayette Campus.
FAYETTE, Iowa (May 22, 2015) – Upper Iowa University recently held its 30th annual Honors and Awards Recognition Banquet and awarded 129 scholarships to students across the University. Recipients were selected by the UIU Honors and Awards Committee and the University academic divisions.
Prior to closing the annual event, those in attendance recognized all donors, family members of donors, and the 2015 award/scholarship recipients for their ongoing support of the University.
