Gettler exhibit to close Dec. 18
With the holidays fast approaching, don’t miss the opportunity to view “To Build a Home” at Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery on the Upper Iowa University Fayette campus. The art exhibit, featuring the works of Dawn Gettler, closes Friday, Dec. 18.
The 2015-2016 Bing Davis Memorial Gallery art show season continues Thursday, Jan. 14, with an exhibit featuring the works of Mankato, Minn., artist Matt Willemson. A reception will coincide with the opening of the exhibit from 3:30-5 p.m. Willemson’s work will remain open to the public during regular gallery hours through Friday, Feb. 12. Additional details about the exhibit will be released as the event draws near.
Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery is located in the Edgar Fine Arts Hall on the Upper Iowa University Fayette Campus. The gallery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In addition to the Willemson exhibit, the remaining 2015-2016 Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery artists schedule is as follows:
- Feb. 18-March 25 – Anita Jung, Iowa City, Iowa, reception 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18.
- March 31-April 15 – Laura Colby, visiting art faculty at UIU; reception 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, March 31.
- April 21-May 7 – Elizabeth Roniker, Becky Althouse, Becky Carpenter, senior thesis exhibitions; reception TBA.
