GEICO associates interested in taking UIU courses must first apply and be admitted to the University.
All degree-seeking students: Please make arrangements to have the following documents sent directly to Upper Iowa University:
- A completed Application for Admission and application fee. Apply free online.
- Official transcripts from each college and university you previously attended. Official transcripts documenting experiential learning (for example, CLEP or DSST score reports) may also be submitted. Official transcripts must be sent directly from the granting institution. They must not pass through your hands. Upper Iowa University, PO Box 1857, Fayette, IA 52142.
- A copy of your high school diploma or transcript (or GED) if you have earned college credit, or an official high school transcript if you have not previously earned college credit. The high school documentation will be waived, if you have earned more than 24 college credits.
Non-degree seeking students
Students can take 30 credit hours (10 classes) before being accepted to the University and declaring a major. The admissions procedures requires a completed application for admission and application fee or apply free online.
Please note that UIU does not require transcripts from non-degree seeking students
