Prior to working in higher education, Dr. Burrack spent 32 years working in PK-12 schools in various teaching and administrative positions. Through these experiences, Dr. Burrack is able to bring real-world examples into the classroom. Dr. Burrack can also connect students with people in the field as the student seeks resume-building experiences and employment. Dr. Burrack’s dissertation topic was school consolidation and the importance of identity in a rural environment.
