Open to all Wisconsin Army and Air Guard Enlisted Members

Upper Iowa University is proud to accept the Wisconsin National Guard Grant, which is open  Wisconsin Army and Air Guard enlisted members.

Benefits

  • Awards up to $386 off per credit or $2,318 per UIU session for bachelor’s degree programs (2023 rate).
    A full-time UIU session consists of two courses (3 credits each).
  • UIU classes start every 8 weeks. Flexible online and self‑paced learning experiences available.

Grant Details

  • Under WI SS 321.40, UIU can accept grant payments for tuition from authorized members of the Wisconsin Army and Air Guard.
  • Members must be from the enlisted ranks only.
  • Grant is admissible only for Bachelor’s degree programs.
  • Members should contact their unit ESO and fill out DMA Form 189-E.
