The MSA program at Upper Iowa has been very beneficial to me and future career goals. I have learned practical knowledge that can be easily applied to my goals of becoming an athletic director. The professors in the MSA program were all very helpful and provided a great learning experience for me. I am glad that I chose Upper Iowa for my MSA.

Karla K. Gavin
Associate Professor of Sport Administration (2010)
One of my favorite responsibilities of being a faculty member is serving as an academic advisor for my students. I enjoy putting puzzles together and that is what advising is, finding the right pieces to fit together to meet the students’ needs, so they can accomplish their personal and academic goals.
