Students eligible for the SCA program have all courses paid for by their school district, including the course, textbooks, necessary materials and fees. If the student is not going through SCA, the tuition is $250 and the student will have to pay for textbooks, course material and fees.
For SCA, if courses are dropped within the allotted time for a tuition refund, the student and/or parent will be responsible for the incurred expenses by the school district. If dropped during the partial refund period, the student and/or parent are responsible for paying the remaining balance to the school district. If the course is failed, the student becomes responsible to the school district for all course expenses.
Following successful completion of the course, credit will be recorded on your official Upper Iowa University transcript. All courses will be applied toward completing your degree through Upper Iowa University. Upper Iowa University will offer all UIU Dual Enrollment students up to a 65 percent tuition discount* for attending college on the Fayette Campus.
*Discount is determined by the number of Dual Enrollment courses completed prior to attending the Fayette Campus.
