Graduate Assistant for Student Activities (2) - Fayette, IA

The Office of Student Life at Upper Iowa University - Fayette Campus invites applications for (2) Graduate Assistant for Student Activities positions. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations associated with the area of Student Activities. The successful applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and have had experience in campus programming as an undergraduate.

The successful candidates will further develop campus programs trips and events for the student body as well as advising campus Greeks, clubs and organizations in coordination with the Coordinator of Student Activities. The overall charge of the GA is to:

  • Serves as co-advisor to the Peacock Entertainment Crew (PEC). Greek Council or Peacocks for Progress.

  • Manages social media and website content in addition to marketing events via toilet talk and What's Happenin' UIU.

Coordinator for Education Abroad – Fayette, IA

Writing Center Director – Fayette, IA

Master of Public Administration Adjunct Instructor - Online, Madison, Milwaukee

Upper Iowa University invites applications for the position of adjunct faculty in the Master of Public Administration program.  This contingent, non-tenure track faculty reports directly to the MPA Program Chair.  Duties and responsibilities include creating and delivering curriculum (online, face-to-face in Madison and Milwaukee, WI, and hybrid) consistent with the UIU MPA program’s mission, goals, and values, active involvement in program assessment, current in area of expertise, and the ability to teach research methods.    

A doctorate in public administration, political science, or public policy is preferred.  A Master’s degree in public administration, political science, or public policy or related area is required. Must demonstrate a commitment to student centered learning, democratic decision making, continuous improvement, and the ability to integrate our program’s values of diversity, democracy and due process into the courses being taught.
