Emergency & Disaster Management

As an Emergency and Disaster Management major, you will be prepared to take the lead in the critical work of responding to a wide range of natural and man-made disasters and civil emergencies. Coursework incorporates both an awareness of government agencies and policies, law, and management as well as practical courses in emergency planning, budget management, and hazard mitigation.

After graduation you can work anywhere from local to state to federal levels in both the public and private sector. This degree supports the Federal Management Agency and enhances the abilities of first responders.
