Student Government 2011-2012 Goals

1. ID Cards

a. Create a seamless university by providing the same ID cards to all students

2. Clubs/Organizations

a. Maintain a balanced budget

b. Create a process by which clubs can acquire money through participation

3. Student Involvement

a. Attract more students to sporting events

b. More campus-wide events

c. International events- promote more interaction between international and domestic students

4. Student Center

a. Add printers upstairs for students

5. Student Survey (Racial Climate Survey)

a. Promote this to all students

6. Dance Marathon

a. Send an Upper Iowa team to Iowa State or other universities to gain information/ideas

i. Raffle, donations, sponsors, etc.

7. Suites

a. Intercom system

8.Promote Recycling

a. Paperless advertising (use televisions instead)

b. Make t-shirts about “going green”

c. Host events that are mandatory for freshmen

9.Graduation Robes

a. Sashes
