Peacock 10 Hour Challenge
The Upper Iowa University Club and Organizations would like to extend their many hands in regards to community service. The Office of Student Development has developed what is now known as “Peacocks for Progress.” Peacocks for Progress is a program developed to unite the Fayette Community and Upper Iowa University Campus in working together to create a fun, safe, and beautiful living environment. So how does it work?
You send your request for community service projects (includes painting, raking yards, etc.) to the Office of Student Development located on the Fayette Campus with a donation (free will offering). Donations may be made after the community service is provided. Upper Iowa University’s Clubs and Organizations take care of the rest. Along with the request for services you will be asked to include any and all supplies needed to complete the task or arrange for special accommodations through the Executive Director of Leadership and Adventure. All projects will be done on a first come, first serve basis. The projects must meet Upper Iowa University’s liability standards. Safety first! 
All donations received will go toward the Utility Vehicle which will provide more opportunities for helping others.
Peacocks for Progress is an ongoing program.
