The goal of the UIU Office of Career Development is to help you keep moving in the right direction toward a successful career and future. The Office of Career Development will assist all students / alumni with resume and cover letter reviews, internship leads, interview skills, mock interviews, graduate school information and general job search questions / skills. These services are provided to current students and alumni free of charge.

Office of Career Development Mission Statement

Career Development will prepare students for a lifetime of career development by teaching students how to search for jobs, so they may do so at any time during their working career. We will encourage students to:

• Accept responsibility for their own career needs and direction.
• Gain familiarity with the world of work.
• Pursue professional and career goals with both an ethical approach and self-knowledge.
• Learn to adapt to and thrive in an ever-changing job market.
• Utilize technology.
