Welcome Parents & Guardians
"Having been a financial literacy instructor it was gratifying to my husband and myself that with minimal financial assistance we had two sons graduate from UIU debt free--quite an accomplishment in today's world of increasing college graduate debt. Mitch (’13) completed high school ICN college credits and received outstanding guidance from his UIU accounting advisor. This careful planning allowed him to obtain his undergrad degree in three years--another cost-saving measure. Storm (’09) received his UIU undergrad and then completed a UIU MBA degree online while working a full-time position. Storm and Mitch appreciated the eight-week terms which allowed them to focus on 2-3 courses rather than the usual 4-5 per semester found at most other colleges. Storm is now a university director of admissions and Mitch will be enrolled in the Masters of Accountancy program at Notre Dame University. I feel the knowledgeable instructors and helpful and caring attitudes displayed by all UIU faculty and staff created a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere. The UIU family enabled Storm and Mitch to "Seize Each Day, Each Opportunity" and allowed the guys to find every campus day a "Great Day to be a Peacock!""
