Heartlanding Information Technology Services Center (HITSC) is a Northeast Iowa-based, not-for-profit Information Technology services and consulting firm, connected to Upper Iowa University.
UIU established Heartlanding with a $99,000 Rural Business Enterprise Grant (RBEG) from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The RBEG program provides grants for rural projects that finance and facilitate development of small and emerging rural businesses, and helps to fund distance learning networks and education programs.
Heartlanding is primarily student-operated, providing IT services to the area while promoting experiential learning for UIU students.
Heartlanding services are competitively priced.
