It is the goal of the Upper Iowa University Facilities Management and Services staff to exceed the expectations of a rapidly growing university community by continuously maintaining and improving a safe, comfortable and attractive environment.

The award winning staff continuously strives to meet the changing needs of students, staff, faculty and visitors of Upper Iowa University through the performance of Grounds, Custodial, Building Maintenance and Events Coordination. Currently our facilities staff covers over 670,000 sq ft on campus.

Through the efforts of the Facilities Management staff, Upper Iowa University has won several awards including the 2011 Alliant Energy Excellence in Energy Efficiency; 2011 Iowa Ready Mixed Concrete Association Excellence in Concrete and the 2012 Iowa Sports Turf Managers Association Soccer Field of the year.
