Phone: (563) 425-5254Professor Clark received his B.B.A. in Marketing with a minor in Wood Technology and an M.B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Professor Clark teaches classes in marketing and occasionally in management. Prior to beginning his academic career, Professor Clark worked in retailing and in the wood products industry.
In addition to his teaching, academic advising, and committee responsibilities at UIU, he advises the local chapter of Alpha Chi, a national academic honor society. In his spare time Professor Clark enjoys residential architectural design, travel, skiing, canoeing, and kayaking the many fine rivers and lakes in Iowa and surrounding states.

Duane Harper

Phone: (563) 425-5253Duane Harper received a B.S. and M.S. in Business Education and an M.B.A. with an accounting major from Fort Hays State University Hays, Kansas.
Prior to joining the UIU faculty, he served in the U.S. Army, taught accounting at the high school and college levels, practiced public accounting, was an account executive for Dean Witter, and worked at a Nokia assembly plant. He currently teaches all of the courses in the accounting major, from Accounting Principles to Auditing.
Duane was a long-distance runner in college and as an adult has enjoyed competing in a variety of road races, from 5Ks to half-marathons. He also collected American-built muscle cars from the mid-Sixties.

Redmond Humphrey

Phone: (563) 425-5776Redmond received his BA from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University with a concentration in Management. Before entering academia, Redmond worked in the financial sector and assisted many new ventures, including several well known, biotech companies, through multiple rounds of financing.
With the financial support of the European Union, Redmond, in collaboration with other specialists, worked arduously as a team in planning and launching of the Business Division at the University of URACCAN, in Bluefields, Nicaragua. In addition to teaching in Nicaragua, Redmond has taught for four years in Hong Kong.
Redmond enjoys traveling, listening to music, reading and writing. In 2008, he presented a paper at the North American Management Society in Chicago, and received the "Best Paper" award in the Global Business Strategy Track.
Lynn Isvik

Phone: (563) 425-5711Professor Isvik received her B.S. in Horticulture from Iowa State University and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, with concentrations in accounting, operations management, and finance.
At UIU, Professor Isvik teaches classes in information systems (including computer applications), accounting, and management. Prior to joining the UIU faculty, she spent over ten years working in accounting, consulting, and marketing positions at corporations in St. Louis, Missouri and Evansville, Indiana.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Professor Isvik advises the local chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, a student business leadership organization.
Md. Manzoor Murshed

Phone: (563) 425-5706Professor Manzoor Murshed received a B.S. (with Honors) in Applied Physics and Electronics and an M.S. in Computer Science from Dhaka University (Bangladesh). He has also earned an M.S. in Computer Engineering and a certificate in Information Assurance from Iowa State University.
Professor Manzoor Murshed has published several papers in his major areas of research, which include Information Assurance, Computer Networks, and Natural Language Processing.
Prior to joining the UIU faculty, he was a member of the Electronics and Computer Science faculty at Jahangirnagar University in Bangladesh. At UIU, he teaches Computer and Information Systems-related courses. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he serves as technical advisor to the local chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, a student business leadership organization. Randall Thomas

Phone: (563) 425-5843Professor Thomas joined Upper Iowa University in 2002. He holds the distinction of having taught at the main campus of UIU - Fayette, at a domestic center UIU - Waterloo, and at an international center UIU - Hong Kong. Indeed, during the six month period July through December 2008 he taught successive terms at each of the three named sites. He was honored with the UIU - Waterloo Excellence in Teaching Award 2006-2007.
Thomas first served as an Adjunct Instructor at UIU - Waterloo while completing a 30+ year career at Deere and Company. At Deere he performed a variety of functions: Accounting, Internal Auditing, Operations Improvement, Total Quality, and Quality Engineering. His teaching experience also includes four years as an Adjunct Instructor for the St. Ambrose University -- Waterloo MBA program.
In 2007 he earned retirement from Deere and join Upper Iowa as Assistant Professor of Business Administration. Randy holds an AA degree from Ellsworth College, a BA - accounting minor / economics minor, and an MBA both from the University of Northern Iowa. Thomas maintains certification as a CPA in the state of Iowa.
Professor Thomas instructs a variety of business courses, primarily in the areas of accounting, finance, and economics.
