The general business curriculum is designed for students in the associate of arts degree program and for baccalaureate students whose major interests lie in education, science or the humanities. The general business major is for students who wish to teach general business and/or marketing/management at the secondary school level. The major satisfies the Iowa Department of Education’s requirements for licensure in those areas.
